Posting tips and hints

Here are some quick tips to help you with posting things to the site:


To Post a new topic begin by clicking on new thread at the top of the first bright green bar. You will be asked to post your subject and then your message.

If you want to reply to a message already posted just click on Reply in the green bar.

To use the smilies, just click on the one you want and it will appear. ;D

If you want your text to be BOLD just highlight the words and then click on the B in the Add tags section.

If you want your text Italicized just highlight the words and click on the crooked I in the add tags section.

If you want to underline something, highlight it and click on the U with the line under it.

If you want to strike through words, then highlight the words and click on the S with the line through it in the add tags section.

To make words [glow=red,2,300]GLOW,[/glow] highlight them and click on the green G in the add tags section.

To add [shadow=red,left,300]shadow[/shadow] to words, highlight them and click on the D with the shadow behind it in the add tags section.

To make words move across the post, highlight the words and then click on the <-M in the add tags section

To change the position of the margins of your text use the 4 buttons with the lines on them for

perforatted

,

right,

center,

and

left

alignments.

To add a line to divide sections use the <----> button

To change the size of your text use the A with the arrow beside it. You will need to change the # in the front of your words to the size you desire. Larger the # larger the text

To change the FONT of your text highlight it and click on the red A. You will have to change the name of the font from veranda to the font you want to use. For example the sample font I just used is called "thickhead"

You can change the color of your font by highlighting it and clicking colors, then choose a different color.

You can add youtube videos with the tube button. You will have to insert your youtube code into the code given.

You can use the -------> button to quote from other peoples posts like this:

Just highlight their words and click the button.

You can insert links by using the button with the earth on it. Simply insert your url link in between the and
To link WORDS or PICS you will have to use this code:

You can insert pics by clicking the little tiny picture and adding your pictures url. This is found by clicking properties and highlighting the address that starts http:

You can insert emails by clicking the letter with blue arrows and placing the email address in between the start and end code.

You can modify your own posts by clicking on the original post and then clicking modify.
